Mexico: A Traditional Dance! Lace on display at the Belgian Pavilion!
Folklorama is an annual multicultural event in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The festival began in 1970 and is still going strong with over forty pavilions! Lace can be found at several venues. See costumes adorned with lace during stage performances and lace in cultural displays at locations throughout the city. Dates in 2018 are August 5 to 11 (Week 1) and August 12 to 18 (Week 2). PS: The Summer edition is now underway. The deadline for articles for the Summer edition is May 15. Share your lacemaking stories with our subscribers!
Summer edition will have postings of any finished lace projects for Canada 150. Others will be published in Fall and Winter 2017 editions as they are completed.
