New lapel (or scarf) pins “Lace Canada Dentelles” are now available.
The design is a single maple leaf measuring 7/8 inch square (2.2 cm x 2.2 cm). The colour is a bright red, the same colour as the Canadian flag, with gold colour details. It attaches with a pinch back butterfly closure.
The gold openwork design is a “ring filling” found in Bruges bobbin lace, based on the original CLG logo by Kris Duwyn, designer and Irma Andries, lacemaker. [CLG Spring 1992]
The pin can be worn as a pendant, attached to a chain with the addition of one or two small metal rings to connect the chain between the front and the back closure of the pin.
The pin can be attached to jewellery if there are openings to allow it to combine with the original design. Or the pin can decorate ornaments in your home! Posted are a few ideas.
Individual pins to Canadian addresses are $5.50 each, plus $2.00 mailing.
Up to three pins can be sent to one address for the same amount. For bubble package include $3.50 shipping.
Group pricing: $55 for ten pins, add $5.50 for bubble package /shipping. For USA and Overseas orders, inquire by email for a price quote.
